The ACVA attracts tourists from all over the world to rural Alberta guest ranches, working ranches, backcountry vacations and farm & ranch country vacations through our well-developed and focused “Experience the Real West – Your Way!” marketing campaign. As a member of ACVA, you will be part of this professional marketing effort!
The Alberta Country Vacations Association (ACVA) was formed in 1970 to give a collective voice and credibility to country vacation businesses in Alberta – including guest ranches, working ranches, backcountry vacations and farm & ranch country vacations. The mandate of the association is to assist members to be strong, profitable businesses through cooperative marketing, professional development, networking, sharing ideas, cross marketing/packaging and referrals. The ACVA provides a recognized and respected voice for the industry with governmental and non-governmental agencies.
Individual operators may be limited by their marketing and advertising budgets. Membership in ACVA includes a multitude of marketing initiatives that most operators would be unable to afford on their own. We know that these initiatives are working as every year we collect stats from our members and consistently we see through all of these submitted stats that our members are receiving bookings from these ACVA initiatives. In fact, some members report that ¾ of their business comes from the ACVA.
Membership with the ACVA is $400.00 per year.
